Namsos

The final destination of this coastal drive is Namsos. This town, founded in 1845, played a vital role in timber exportation and the offshore oil industry. Although much of the original Namsos was destroyed during World War II and multiple fires, the town has been rebuilt. Visit the Norwegian Sawmill Museum to learn about its history. Take a stroll along the harbor for breathtaking fjord views.
